Lab Overview - Introduction to IBM Cloud Cyber Recovery (HOL-2497-03-ISM)

In this simulation lightning lab, the user can explore the IBM Cloud for VMware management portal and see how to create a complete IBM Cloud isolated recovery environment with immutable storage. We will introduce the basic concepts of virtual air gaps for isolation using virtual network gateways and NSX automation in particular. We will look at how to implement a simple recovery environment and how to use a virtual VMware SDDC sandbox for application recovery operations. We will also introduce the concept of scanning for malware with a brief overview of Veeam Smart Restore as the VM is restored into the isolated environment.
